MEET THE OWNERS

Heather Tindle spent most of her childhood in the northern part of Calaveras County in the town of Mokelumne Hill. After moving out of California and spending time in many western states she returned to Calaveras, more specifically, Murphys. Since 2000 she has worked with many local wineries spending nearly 10 years in the foothill wine industry. She learned to bartend when she wasnt at the winery at the Historic Hotel Leger in Mokelumne Hill. Heather came to work for V Restaurant in 2011, bringing her knowledge of wine and artisan cocktails to the table. She is known by many for her vibrant and outspoken personality, which is a wonderful trait in the customer service industry.

Gina Galloway has spent nearly her entire life in and around Murphys. There aren't many locals who don't know her or call her friend. Her grandmother, a pastor at a local church and her mother, owned a flower shop in town. She spent many years working at a rock quarry in Angels Camp for a well known long time family of Calaveras County. She expanded her knowledge of food and wine by working in her free time at many local wineries and restaurants. Gina has an extensive background in catering and a love for creating unique dishes paired with local wines. With her infectious laugh and hard working nature, it's no wonder she is now co-owner of a thriving business.

Together the pair of close friends find joy in being a very involved part of the community. Organizing, donating and contributing to many local fundraisers and causes that directly benefit a member or an organization of their beloved community of Calaveras County.  On their off time they can be found tending their gardens, raising swine and/or beef for consumption or breeding because nothing compares to self sustainability. Recreational league softball, camping, exploring and traveling is also important to this pair. Come in and meet the owners as they are very involved with the day to day operations of a long time dream that came true in 2019, ownership of the great and wonderful V Restaurant, Bistro & Bar.
